These do not require water and there is not much pressure build up within the oven, unlike an autoclave, making them safer to work with. Construction Details:
WEIBER hot air ovens are double walled convection heated and cooled units. Outer body of lab ovens are constructed out of thick PCRC, pre coated corrosion resistant GI sheet duly pre-treated with primers and rust proofing and painted with long lasting stove enamel or elegantly powder coated. The inner construction is made of heavy gauge stainless steel sheet of SS-304 grade). The gap between the walls is filled high grade mineral glass wool, which ensures maximum thermal efficiency in our ovens.
Heating:
Indirect heating system is provided in our units, comprising of air heaters made of high grade Kanthal/nichrome wires of suitable wattage. The warm air is evenly distributed throughout the oven through efficient motor fans ensuring very good temperature sensitivity.

WEIBER Forced Convection Ovens use a motor driven circulating fan that is placed between the unit’s inner and outer housings. A timer is placed inside them that control the fan and the heating element. This kind of ovens work faster than conventional ovens because it uses the fan that keeps on circulating to ensure that even distribution of heat and faster cooking takes place.
Forced convection ovens are basically designed to save time of heating. The temperature that is inside these units are moderated through hydraulic type thermostat or with a digital controller microprocessor based temperature controller cum indicator to achieve maximum accuracy.
