Working Principle:

Contaminated air from the fume hood enters the unit and passes through a packed bed then through the liquid spray section, a mist eliminator and then into the exhaust system for release outside the building. The scrubbing liquor is recirculated from the sump and back to the top of the system usinga pump. The air and the scrubbing liquor pass in a countercurrent fashion for efficient gas/liquid contact. Water soluble gases, vapors and aerosols are dissolved into the scrubbing liquor. Removal efficiencies for most water soluble acid and base laden airstreams is 95-98%. Particulates are also captured quite effectively by this type of scrubber.

Polypropylene Fume Hood for high acid and trace metal analysis use. WEIBER offers a range of Pp Fume Hood constructed from all white stress-relieved, acid resistant, non-corrosive polypropylene. These hoods are specially engineered for use with harsh corrosive acids. They are available as conventional total exhaust hoods providing only operator protection, and as HEPA-filtered laminar flow fume hoods providing both operator and product protection.

 

Constructed almost entirely of polypropylene, this fume hood contains the Zero Leak Airflow System, available only from. These equipments use advanced technological features and an energy efficient design to provide optimum growth conditions for all stages of plant growth. They are designed to meet all the ventilation, lighting and temperature requirements for different plant species, providing a safe and aesthetic area for growing different types of plants in an aerated solution of nutrients.

 

These growth chambers provide a standard technique for growing plants in an artificial laboratory environment for various biological research and teaching applications. They come equipped with a nutrient reservoir featuring a customized lid inside the chamber with enough built-in capacity. The plants absorb the nutrients though their roots that remain submerged into a dilute solution containing organic or inorganic nutrients to meet their entire nutrient requirement. Since plant growth can also be affected considerably due to inadequate lighting, these hydroponics chambers also come equipped with an efficient lighting system fitted at the top of the chamber. They might use compact fluorescent bulbs for reduced energy consumption, LED grow lights or more reliable HID bulbs to provide solar energy for enabling plant photosynthesis.
